Arnoks: A Culinary Revolution with a Business Twist
Fried chicken is a beloved staple globally, and in the Philippines, it's no different. However, amidst the myriad of familiar flavors, a new sensation has emerged on the gastronomic scene. Arnoks Special Fried Chicken, a venture of Jonathan Taguines, the owner and founder of the company and a subsidiary of GO Direct, has been redefining the fried chicken experience since its inception.
Birthed in 2019, Arnoks was the result of a meticulous process involving careful analysis, strenuous labor, and quality time. The goal was to discover a unique taste and texture that would appeal to the palates of all ages. This innovative approach to a classic dish not only satiates the appetite but also presents an opportunity for financial prosperity through a unique business model.
Taguines, or "Sir JT" as he is fondly known, aimed to create a business that would thrive despite any circumstance, a vision that was put to the test during the Covid-19 pandemic. Fortunately, his strategy held strong, revealing the resilience of the food industry, particularly when a product or service is at its best.

This venture provided his family with financial independence and quality time together.
Arnoks prides itself on offering a simple and accessible business model. A small stall in one's front yard is all that's needed to start reselling Arnoks Special Fried Chicken. The company provides a secret recipe and various package choices for re-sellers to serve customers with the same quality and taste that has made Arnoks a hit.
The potential success of a venture into the chicken industry, estimated to be worth P100 billion, is promising. Compared to other Filipino dishes, fried chicken is among the easiest to prepare. This simplicity has allowed Taguines' family, including his wife Luane and children Julianne and Leanna, to join in on the business, preparing and cooking Arnoks chicken without the need for professional culinary skills.

Arnoks began humbly, with a single stall in Taguines' front yard. In just two years, the family fried up over 20,000 chickens, and enjoyed substantial financial gains. The success of Arnoks didn't stop at their yard, though. The business model was designed to expand, and it has done so impressively.
Since its inception, Arnoks has grown rapidly, creating a chain of around 1800 re-sellers both domestically and internationally, with the first overseas branch opening in Italy recently. This success has made Arnoks one of the fastest-growing businesses in the Philippines, catching the attention of award-giving bodies and earning recognition along the way.
Arnoks Special Fried Chicken is more than just a revamp of a classic dish; it's a testament to the power of innovation in the culinary industry and an example of how food can serve as a platform for creating economic opportunities. Through Arnoks, Taguines has demonstrated how a simple dish can be transformed into a gastronomic sensation and a viable business venture.
